hmmm...well, i lived in boston from sept 96 to march 97, so you think i would have learned about peter mulvey then. you would be wrong...i was actually at a david wilcox in-store show here in houston and came across the "this is boston" compilation with him on it in the folk section while waiting for the show to start; I gave it a listen. when i heard his acoustic version of "out here" i couldn't even move - every word in it seemed to parallel emotions i had while living in boston and frankly, it's not often that music steamrolls me like that. since that day, i have forced all my musician and non-musician friends to listen to him and he seems to have the same impact on them as well. and, susie - thanks for the big sky info - been wondering how to uncover those relics........
